Amplifying Impact Through Strategic Communications

At the 2026 Farmers’ Durbar held in Kintampo, Oyster Agribusiness brought together over 650 farmers, development partners, municipal officials and traditional leaders to celebrate the hard work of smallholder farmers and strengthen support for Ghana’s agricultural sector.

The event recognised more than 40 farmers for their outstanding performance across the 2024 and 2025 farming seasons. Award winners received items including motorbikes, tricycles, deep freezers, planters, fertiliser applicators and agrochemicals to support their work and improve productivity.

The durbar also highlighted Oyster Agribusiness’ growing impact across Bono East and Ashanti Regions, where the company now supports about 30,000 farmers annually through input support, climate-smart training, market access and value addition initiatives.
